The Laboratory, based in the Department of Communication and Economics, aims to take care of scientific research on the issues of public choices and social and economic welfare domestically and internationally by promoting and carrying out the activity necessary to develop the best collaboration in a multidisciplinary key among scholars in the scientific community.
It deals with economic growth and social welfare, legislative, organizational and technological innovation, the structure of markets and the behavior of economic actors.
