The international conference, including world-renowned scholars and firms coming from around 20 jurisdictions, focuses on the application of steward ownership models to enterprises. In particular, the seven sessions of the conference will highlight the key features of steward ownership, its impact on EU Law, the differences between the organizational models by means of which steward ownership is currently adopted, the governance, stakeholders and financial issues linked to steward ownership, also with a view to the legislative bills on the topic currently pending in Germany and in the Netherlands, and some success stories from selected enterprises. Furthermore, in the morning of May 24, there will be a connection between the conference and the UniMORE project SAFELY, with a focus on cybersecurity.

The conference is organized by professors Alessio Bartolacelli (UniMORE), Carolina Cunha (University of Coimbra), Florian Möslein (University of Marburg) and Anne Sanders (University of Bielefeld).
