2. The right to the thesis assignment is also granted to students who, regardless of the academic year of enrollment, have yet to take no more than three examinations for a bachelor's degree.
3. The thesis assignment is agreed upon between the student and the professor on the basis of an interview between the two. The subject chosen by the student must be among those already successfully taken by him/her.
4. The lecturer, after ascertaining through the database of thesis assignments that the student has not already obtained another assignment, agrees with the student on the title of the thesis, after which the same lecturer will fill out the appropriate form (www.giurisprudenza.unimore.it/formtesi...), from which the following data should be shown:
(a) first name last name and matriculation number of the undergraduate student;
(b) degree course;
(c) the chosen subject;

Any other reason for refusal to accept thesis requests other than numerical should be made explicit to the student and, if necessary, justified in writing and communicated to the Director.
6. A student who decides to write his or her thesis in a subject other than the one already assigned must inform the teacher of the thesis originally requested, who must inform the Director and as well as the teacher of the new assignment. The latter may proceed to fill out a new form only after ensuring that the teacher of the original request has been informed of the thesis change.
1. If the thesis has been assigned in a subject whose teaching ceases to be activated before the graduation examination, the student retains the right to his or her assigned thesis.
