Contenuto

The Department of Law uses the Internship Platform on the UNIMORE Placement Services portal to arrange curricular internships for its students.

How to Arrange a Curricular Internship Through the Internship Platform

STEP 1: SUBMISSION, APPROVAL, and ACTIVATION of the AGREEMENT (by the COMPANY)

a. For COMPANIES not affiliated with the Department of Law

Companies that are not registered must first register on the Internship Platform.

Agreement

After logging into the Placement Services Portal, to request an internship agreement, select INTERNSHIP MANAGEMENT > AGREEMENTS > ENTER NEW AGREEMENT and fill out the form, making sure to select the student’s department of origin.

Once the request has been submitted, you must notify the relevant internship office via email; the office will then approve the agreement and notify the host organization through the platform.

After the agreement is approved, to complete the procedure:

- Companies/private entities must download the document from the platform, digitally sign it (a PADES signature is preferred), upload it back to the platform, and notify the Internship Office (stage.giurisprudenza@unimore.it) by email

- Public entities must download the document from the Platform, digitally sign it (a PADES signature is preferred), and send it to the Internship Office via certified email (PEC) at stage.giurisprudenza@pec.unimore.it.  .

Notification of the agreement’s activation will be posted on the Platform.

Agreements are valid for three years and will be automatically renewed for an additional three years, unless terminated in writing.

For students who do not have a digital signature, the document must be downloaded from the Platform, signed, and the original copy submitted to the Internship Office of the student’s department, where it must be stamped with a paper seal.

* Agreements may be submitted in original form at the Department’s reception desk (Via San Geminiano, 3 – open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), or by mail to the following address:

Department of Law – Internship Office
Via San Geminiano, 3
41121 – MODENA (MO)

b. For COMPANIES with an agreement with the Department of Law

They must log in to the Platform using the credentials issued during registration and enter the training project.

PHASE 2: SUBMISSION AND APPROVAL OF THE TRAINING PLAN (by the COMPANY)

The Training Plan may be submitted exclusively by the host organization, which may complete the form even while awaiting approval of the Agreement.

Please note that, as provided for in Article 4, paragraph 7, of the UNIVERSITY’S GENERAL REGULATIONS FOR THE CONDUCT OF INTERNSHIPS, “An internship may not be carried out at a facility where the manager in charge has family ties or relationships by marriage up to the second degree with the intern.”

To enter a training project, after logging into the Placement Services Portal, select INTERNSHIP MANAGEMENT > TRAINING PROJECTS > ENTER NEW TRAINING PROJECT and fill out the appropriate form.

The company must enter:

- the tax ID number and student ID number of the student with whom it intends to arrange the curricular internship;

- the details of the internship proposal (duration, location, planned activities, company mentor, etc.).

The Internship Office will notify the host organization of approval via the Platform only after verifying:

- that the student in question meets the requirements for admission to the internship;

- that the educational objectives of the proposed internship are appropriate.

STEP 3: SIGNING AND ACTIVATION OF THE TRAINING PLAN (by the COMPANY and the INTERNSHIP STUDENT)

To complete the procedure, the host organization and the intern must sign the Training Plan—which can be downloaded from the Platform—and submit it to the Internship Office, or email it (stage.giurisprudenza@unimore.it) for the appropriate signature, before the start date specified in the document.

The office will send a notification confirming the activation of the internship and will return a signed copy of the training plan by uploading a scanned copy to the Platform.

STEP 4: COMPLETION OF THE INTERNSHIP (by the COMPANY and the INTERNSHIP STUDENT)

At the end of the internship, in order to receive University Academic Credits (CFU), the student must submit (via email) the following to the Internship Office:

- the hours log: signed and stamped by the HOST ORGANIZATION (company) and the student (the form to be filled out is at the bottom of the page)

- the final report: signed by the student (the form to be filled out is at the bottom of the page)

- evaluation questionnaire: at the end of the internship, the Placement Platform will email the host organization and the student an evaluation questionnaire regarding the experience, which must be completed in order for the CFU credits to be recorded for UAF

Students who intend to complete an internship must, concurrently with the activation PROCESSES handled by the companies, follow these STEPS:

1) INTERNSHIP APPLICATION: To activate the internship, the student must submit the INTERNSHIP APPLICATION via email to the Internship Office (stage.giurisprudenza@unimore.it)

2) Registration with ALMALAUREA: Students must also register with ALMALAUREA by completing the relevant questionnaire.

In order to view, print, and sign their Training Plans, UNIMORE students must be registered with Almalaurea and have updated their Almalaurea resume by adding the degree program in which they are currently enrolled.

After logging into their personal AlmaGo page, students or graduates can select “Internships. Manage your internships” to view the details and status of the Training Project requested by a company.

The Training Project can only be entered by the company.

3) Identifying and contacting the host organization: The internship setup process requires students to independently identify a host organization, contact it, and inquire about availability.

During any interview with the host organization, the student may agree on the internship period with them.

4) Training Plan Approval: After the host organization has uploaded the Training Plan to the platform, the Internship Office will send a notification to the faculty member assigned as the Academic Advisor, who will approve the internship after verifying:

- that the student in question meets the requirements for admission to the internship;

- that the educational objectives of the proposed internship are appropriate.

The student will receive notification of the internship’s approval via email from placement@unimore.it.

5) Training Plan—Activation: After approval, to activate the internship, the company and the student must sign the Training Plan (the company must also affix its stamp) and submit it to the Internship Office (via email or by uploading it to the platform) for the appropriate signature, prior to the start date. The student can download this document from their personal AlmaGo page, in the “Internships. Manage Your Internships” section.

Once the internship is activated, the student will receive an email notification from the University Placement Office (from placement@unimore.it) with the internship start date and will find a signed copy of the training plan attached to the platform

Subsequently

6) At the end of the internship: Upon completion of the internship, in order to receive University Academic Credits (CFU), the student must submit (via email) to the Internship Office:
