The Emilian tradition in the study and interpretation of law is combined, in Modena, with a highly prestigious location set within the Complesso San Geminiano, right in the city's Historic Center. The San Geminiano Complex, dating back to the 12th century, has recently been renovated: it is located near a paid parking lot along the avenues surrounding the city center and a capacious free parking lot at the former AMCM area on Via Carlo Sigonio, a few hundred meters away.
All classrooms are equipped with video projectors and allow for optimal lecture attendance. The new University Law Library, which meets the needs of about 2,000 local users (in addition to making numerous interlibrary loans), has gone to settle in a large part of the San Paolo Subdivision, around the large courtyard where the ancient Holm Oak, which gives its name to the same area, has its home. Located on two floors (ground floor and second floor), it has its entrance on Camatta Street, strategically located for the daily use of students attending the nearby Law Department.
